I am raiding money for cancer research any ideas how to increase my money raised?

I am running in the race for life this june and am currently collecting sponsers and donations.Any ideas of how to boost the money in which I can raise and how to let people know what I am doing.Thanks

I am raiding money for cancer research any ideas how to increase my money raised?
1)set up a website for people to donate on. It doesn't have to be fancy just something on dreamweaver. And there should be a button in the flash catogary which will let youadd a paypal button then just follow the instructions.





2) Have a bring and buy sale or cake sale etc. get creative!





3) Put posters and leaflets through some doors of people and then the next day go to them and ask for some money.





4) Ask your boss to say something at work or put a tin at the front reception or offices for people to donate.





5) Raffle at work or in a nearby pub buy a book of tickets really cheap and sell them for 50p a strip, make sure you chooses a nice pb with plenty of families. Have some entertainment like a film people can watch which could be just prodgected onto a wall.





Hope this helps, just use your imagination and the money will come pouring in. It's for a good cause so people will care.

Reply:get sponsor sheets from your local hospice or make them up hand in to all the shops pubs and clubs?local paper put an add in ask them if the will do this as its for a great cause and people will come along to cheer you on and boost your moral you are doing a really great thing let as many people know and get some help also your health centre and hospital will help just ask and you will be amazed good luck and take care
