Cancer Research UK has refused to employe me after I am 65. What can I do about it.?

Probably nothing. I wouldn't have thought that this constitutes age discrimination, because 65 is the statutory retirement age in this country.

I know that my employment contract states that my employment will automatically terminate on my 65th birthday (although I am 29 and I really hope that I will not still be working there when I am 65 :-)).

I would advise that you check your own contract and your employee handbook and see if there is a similar clause. If there isn't, then you may want to give ACAS a call (google them) and ask for their advice, but I think you'll find that your employer is in the right.

Sure?

Why not?

Not for money.

But basic needs.

Should be just fine.

If one can still work.

Since it's a specialised skill

In leaving behind the knowledge.

Instead of bringing it all back to the graveyard.

In doing the work of God.

With success in honouring and worshiping God.

For the good of mankind.

In making this world a better place to live.

In the creation of peace on earth goodwill to men in time.

For all the little ones out there

Vital for the survival and advancement of living human kind in time.

Luke 9.25,55-56,60
