I would like a telephone number for macmillon nurses becuase i want to raise money for cancer research.?

my sister has had cancer operated on and is on chemo now and she has lost all her hair, i am having my head shaved to give her more confidence as we go out together, she is wearing a wig but says everyone is starring at her so i said i will shave my head to give her confidence, my friends have talked me in to doing it in public and raising money for the macmillon nurses but i don't know how to get any sponsor forms from them, i am a 45 year old female and my friends say they admire me for doing it, i work out and about in the community myself as a senior care assistant for a domocillary agency. i would appreciate your help thanks.

contact your local douglas macmillan hospice and ask for a collect box, sponsor form etc.my mum has just been given the all clear for breast cancer, she had to have a MRI scan, which is only available to women who are high risk, she still has 15 sessions of radiotherapy to go through, she went last week and told the nurses that she wanted to raise money for more equipment, and they delivered a collection box 2 days later, the box is 3/4 full, she's only had it for a week, good luck and i wish your sister well.
Reply:You're so kind to support your sister this way, she's very lucky to have a sister like you. We all need someone esp in times of difficultes %26amp; it's such a blessing to have someone who is there for you.

I just wanted to say I don't agree with supporting cancer research as there has been people who have been able to cure cancer, %26amp; also herbs that have proven very effective in treating cancer yet one guy in the US who did this had his house broken into, rampaged %26amp; arrested.

I think cancer is one big money maker for the pharmecutical companies.....

anyways, there's a herb that's very effective in treating cancer;if you'd like more info please email me.

Thank you.
