Reply:My husband and I contribute to several different cancer charities ... we also 'speak out' about cancer ... but because I was given a 'terminal ... less than three months to live' diagnosis when I was 21, and I have the WORST form of genetic disposition to that cancer, we both care most about skin cancer, especially malignant melanoma ... but we do donate to both breast cancer and prostate cancer research, among many other 'charities' ... including the research to find a 'cure' for Parkinson's Disease, for Muscular Sclerosis, and for Heart research for both men and women.


What Nancy Pelosi does is personal ... and whether she cotributes to different charities or no charities at all makes little difference to me ... at least as long as she is in the 'position' she holds in Congress ... her's is a POLITICAL position, and I feel that it is WRONG to 'speak out' for a certain type of health research over another ...
