What will happen to all the people in cancer research and treatment hospitals once there is a cure for all?

There are other medical research projects that could use the money that is now used on cancer research, so they could hire more people, most of them, people who have been doing cancer research. Hospitals also can change from cancer treatment to other kinds of treatment.

As far a cigarette sales, yes probably, but then there would be more need for cardiac research and hospitals, because the number one problem with smoking is heart and circulatory conditions.

They would be downsized like any other career path that has been overtaken by technology.
Reply:mostly likely out of a job or researching new diseases or doing other things, like cloning.
Reply:wow, that's an interesting question. if someone did find a cure i think they'd probably make it so expensive and hard to get that there would be ppl who still need chemo, meds, and other treatments.

If they were to find some sort of cure tomorrow they probably wouldn't even release that kind of information until they were sure of a way to keep business and employment up. the sorry fact is that healthcare is really a business and ppl will do whatever makes them the most money.

i heard there are things that can easily lower bad cholesterol and are cheap but doctors don't want you to know that because pharmacies would lose Billions of dollars.

as for as cig sales going up, i'm sure they would. seriously, if ppl are still smoking when they know it causes cancer i can only imagine a million more starting if a cure for cancer was found.
Reply:hysteria,i dont think so,because,i dont believe that someone is just going to come out and say heres the medicine come and get it,there will probably be some steps,a process so that the miracle medicine is dispensed all around the world;cig sales nehh, maybe the price will go up,but not as a direct result of no more cancer on planet earth
