Cancer research?

What jobs would people do at the Institute of Cancer Research? Would it be normal jobs, and then they would have people who specialise in treating cancer? I need to find out the jobs roles and qulifications needed.

Reply:Cancer research often involves the use of animals, if that's of any help to you? Lung cancer research for instance, will have dogs which are made to inhale cigarette smoke continually so that researchers can see what damage it does to their lungs, although they already KNOW what smoking does so this type of research is unnecessary.

I would think qualifications in chemistry, biology and possibly mathematics would be needed. And a very strong stomach too, if you're going to torture animals every day.
