Despite the fact that dairy has been shown to contribute to all forms of cancer especially breast cancer
Does anyone find it weird that dairy company's support breast cancer research with their pink ribbon yogur
In fact there is no evidence that dairy contributes to any cancer, let alone all forms of cancer.
It has been suggested that breast cancer is caused by dairy consumption, but again - no proven evidence of any connection.
I am vegan, ie no animal products, including of course dairy. I think dairy is unhealthy in a number of ways, but if it was the cause of breast cancer I'd still have two breasts.
Avoiding dairy didn't stop me getting Grade 3 breast cancer, it didn't cure me and it won't stop me getting a recurrence.
But I do hate the pink thing and I despise companies cashing in on breast cancer in this way, seeing it as a marketing opportunity rather than a deadly disease.
Reply:That is no stranger than cigarette company websites that have "stop smoking" advice.
Reply:Never really thought about it-true though:)
Reply:sort of like the dairy industry campaigning weight loss. dairy is bad, very bad. stay away.
Reply:Doesn't look like many people really care ,going on the number of replies. Perhaps if you had left out all the words of your question except 'breast' you would have got more replies.
I'm sick of the apathy that abounds here on this site.
