Shaving my head for cancer research?

i am shaving my head the st baldricks foundation this saturday. i am 19 and a women and i have about 3 foot of hair i recently got a job at petsmart and they do not have hats of any kind does anyone have any suggestions to get my boss to let me wear a hat or bandana

For work could you just go bald? If people ask just tell them what you did it for. If you feel uncomfortable about it maybe you could ask your manager if you could wear a little hat, like how they wear caps in McDonalds etc. Just buy one the same colour of your uniform.
Reply:Had never heard of St. Baldricks. Very cool! (I hope they cut ponytails first where possible to donate the hair for wigs!) Unless you're uncomfortable with the whole bald head thing, I would think you could just go bald. It might make your boss uncomfortable enough for him/her to let you wear something. But then again, from what I was reading, proudly showing off your bald head is part of the point of what St. Baldricks is doing - showing support for cancer research.
