Reply:Great idea, we should start a nationwide and global campaign, some people think religion is the answer but others of us think religion is the problem.
Reply:Same as if you focus on your sex only and make it unuseable by neglegting your brain
Reply:And have another load of animals tested on and inflicted with awful things just so we come away understanding nothing and curing nothing again.


I'd rather stick with God. But as for tithing, I'd keep your money, God certainly doesn't want or need it. If that was what bothered you most.

Reply:Some tithe and also give to cancer research. And some call Christians narrow-minded....
Reply:tithe belongs to God, if you want to do something else, use money in addition of tithe.
Reply:It would have more effect, to take a break from all forms of War and terror for a year. If all that money was put into health care, would get a lot further in solving all types of health problems, surely?

That money is used to save people to keep them from burning in Hell for all eternity.. If one person is saved, I think it money well spent..

Reply:If people diverted their tithes to cancer research that would be awesome, but it would not make much sense while allowing perfumes and colognes to be sold full of toluene and other carcinogenics, would it? Unfortunately other money in that industry seems to be allowed to compromise people's health. Ingredients or warnings are not on the packages. So to work on cancer, get going on the cause too. It isn't god's fault anymore than anything else.

EDIT: what the **** is tithe? its not a biblical requirement anymore. if you're going to give, its because you WANT to give. remember the little old lady jesus observed giving everything she had as donation. she gave 100 ****** percent, none of this tithe ****, while others were giving what was left over after all they expenses.


clearly, some people do not put god first.


and its not about the money. its about the feeling behind that sacrifice.

Reply:If we could refrain from God for the next 300 years, we could probably colonize Mars, send men to Pluto and have msot forms of disease and illness erradicated from society, as well as poverty and hunger.
Reply:I don't see why you have to take a break from God for a year to do this-you can just re distribute your money in different ways.Suddenly not believing in God ??? If you do that you're not a Christian anyway!! and i cant see why you would be tithing. I'm not convinced on the tithing thing anyway.
